It is always a pleasant task to share my thoughts and the highlights of our work over the past year in this important publication of our annual report. I am proud to present GVSS’s Annual Report that the organization continues to contribute in the sector of health, HIV/AIDS, Women Empowerment, Child Protection, Environment etc. over as many years. The report takes an account of activities and interventions, carried out in the year of 2018-19. I would like to extend our sincere thanks to all our partners, donors and crew members who would remain very supportive, kind and instrumental during achieving the targets, envisaged for the reporting year. Over the last one year we have made rapid strides in our work towards HIV Aids, Safe Abortion, Child Protection, Community Development and Women Empowerment. GVSS has worked with the Government health system for effective delivery of services in the best interest of vulnerable section of the communities. Our member organizations have vast experience of working in the field of community health, Environment, Child Protection, Women empowerment in their respective districts, and have shown right based approach in the delivery system. The organization has undergone tremendous growth in its work on the issue of health. New focus areas such as Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights started this year with focusing Safe Abortion. Link Worker Scheme, Child Line, 1098 (Intigrated Child Protection Scheme), SHG & JLG formation and Linkege projects run from many years and achieve many successes under project period. It’s been a challenging year, but the journey has been a lot easier, thanks to each of you who has helped in many ways – your time, your donations, your ideas and most of all your belief in all of us at GVSS. We had also received a regular support from a number of community members, donor organizations, network organizations, civil society organizations, Government organizations etc. I use this opportunity to thank them all for their continued and unflinching support in our services to the humanity. We look forward to deepening the work even further in 2019-2020.
